The Chained Oak Chasers get their name from a luxury B&B in Alton, Staffordshire, ideally located to stay in when visiting Alton Towers, and other Staffordshire attractions, which belongs to the parents of team member Prudence Bradley.
The four Staffordshire lasses have been team chasing together since 2011, competing in Novice classes (under differing names) until 2012 when embarking on Intermediate classes. 2013 and 2014 saw them compete in a number of Intermediates, finishing each time and coming 5th at the Worcester.
Team Colours – black jods, black cap and navy, green and cerise striped tops.

Leader – Frankie Jervis (25 years old) on her 13 year-old bay mare Bella, up to. Bella is a horse of a life time and will do anything, having competed up to BS Newcomers level. Currently competing 1m Riding Club eventing, team chasing is Bella’s fun activity. Frankie is married and has a 6 year-old son, and works part time on a livery yard. Number 2 – Becky Riley (37 years old and the ‘mother’ of the group) and Spy, a 16hh homebred 11 year-old chestnut mare by Matinee du Madon. To say that the mare has been tricky is an understatement and she is definitely not a novice ride! Despite being born with such poor foot conformation the farrier would have had her put down, with TLC, a good farrier and regular chiropractor treatment Spy is kept on the road! The pair regularly hunt with the North Staffs and has been a solid member of the Albrighton and Woodland inter hunt relays over the years. Becky and Spy competed at Blenheim in the eventers challenge for Bradley Dale Riding Club, coming 2nd in 2012. Becky is a Podiatrist and works part time for the NHS and part time for herself. In 2012 she had a short break from riding whilst having her daughter, Charlotte.
Number 3 – Prudence Bradley (21 years old) and Phoebe, a seven year-old 16.1hh bay mare that loves to jump!! Team Chasing is their favourite activity and the only cure they have for Phoebe’s ‘mareish’ ways. Hunted last season with the North Staffs and the Staffordshire Moorlands and previously with the Meynell. Prudence works as an Account Assistant at Uttoxeter race course.
Number 4 – Megan Goodwin (24 years old) and Tia, a seven-year old 15.1hh black mare, which Megan has totally turned around, In 2012 Tia had not even jumped!! Megan and Tia also hunt with the North Staffs, and too love jumping. Megan is a ‘farmer’s wife’ and helps out on the farm as well as undertaking milking duties.
